On behalf of the Ministry of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs, Oslo Economics has assessed the efficiency effects of the cooperation between the transport companies Tide and Boreal on the Coast Bus, which is an express bus that runs between Stavanger and Bergen.

We found that the gains were larger than the costs and concluded that cooperation is consistent with the Norwegian Competition Act § 10 which prohibits anti-competitive collaboration.
