This week, Oslo Economics participated in a research workshop on international experiences with primary health care teams, together with researchers from Norway, France, Germany, and Canada.

Oslo Economics have assisted Schjødt with providing legal councel during the merger investigation related to the merger of two companies, TGS and PGS. Both companies are significant players in the marine seismic data sector.

Oslo Economics conducted economic analyses of the data ESA used in its decision, on behalf of Arntzen de Besche and Thommessen who represented Eviny AS.

Oslo Economics, in collaboration with Sverre Kittelsen (Frisch Centre), Kjartan Sarheim Anthun (SINTEF) and Jon Magnussen (NTNU), has calculated the marginal costs associated with increasing the activity levels in the Norwegian specialist health service. The study is part of the foundation for the Norwegian government’s recently announced healthcare plan and has been conducted on the behalf of the Ministry of Health and Care Services.

Oslo Economics, in collaboration with Schjødt, has entered into another framework agreement with the Directorate-General for Competition (DG Competition) of the European Commission.  
Under this framework agreement, Oslo Economics and Schjødt will provide expert support to DG Competition in state aid cases. This includes assessments of various types of transactions involving the use of State resources, such as equity investments, loans, guarantees, or sales.
