We are pleased to welcome Torben Mideksa as Associate Partner at Oslo Economics. Torben is currently an assistant professor in economics at Uppsala University. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Oslo and has an educational background from University of Oslo, Harvard University, MIT and Mekelle University (Ethiopia). His current research covers the areas of Resource, Environmental, Development, and Political Economics as well as teaching Microeconomics, Industrial Economics, and Contract Theory.
Torben’s research has appeared in leading economics journals. His research cover topics such as tropical deforestation, environmental regulations, and European energy markets. Past experience includes research positions at Harvard University Center for the Environment, University of Oslo, and Cicero Center for International Climate Research.
Torben will contribute to ensure high quality to projects within environmental and resource economics, development, and competition. We are delighted to have Torben as part of our team!
