Oslo Economics, together with the lawyers Nikolai K. Winge and Fredrik Holth, has assisted the Ministry of Local Government and Modernization in the preparation of a new guide for calculating cost and fee regulations in construction matters. The background for the guide is a need for clarification and clarification of cost calculation and design of fee regulations.
The guide explains the legal framework and the municipalities’ room for maneuver when determining fees, and gives recommendations on the assessment of cost. The purpose is that the guide will make it easier for the municipalities to carry out calculations of cost and determine the legal level of fees in the construction area. It will also contribute to more uniform practice among municipalities.
