Guro Fasting holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), specializing in energy, environmental and resource economics. Guro has previous work experience from the Department for Oil and Energy, DNV GL and Deloitte. During her time in the Department for Oil and Energy, Guro worked with implementation and evaluation of policies intended to support a shift in energy use and production. Her responsibilites included preparing policy briefs and cost benefit analyses of various regulatory measures and policy proposals. At DNV GL, Guro assessed policies for electrification and implementation  of alternative fuel technology in the transportation sector targeting carbon emissions. She has also worked on concept studies and cost benefit analyses of large public investments. From Deloitte, Guro has experience doing financial analysis and modelling.
