Teresa Messner is an economist specialized in macroeconomics and monetary policy. She has previously worked as an economist at Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), first in the Foreign Research unit and later in the Monetary Policy unit. Teresa holds a master’s degree in economic geography from Leibniz University Hannover and is currently writing her doctoral thesis at Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her primary research focus is in empirical macroeconomics with a micro perspective, focusing on price setting and inflation dynamics, inflation measurement, and inflation expectations. She has publications in this area. Teresa has great experience working with statistical and econometric tools as well as quantitative data, survey data, and network data.
