Oslo Economics will, on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate of Health, evaluate the implementation of the relatives’ guide. The assignment is carried out in collaboration with Inger Johanne Bergerød at the Network for Relatives Research at the University of Stavanger.
A number of measures have been taken to make the relatives ‘guide known, but input to the national relatives’ strategy “We – the relatives” (2021-2025) shows that there is a need to further strengthen the work with implementation. In the project, we will assess the extent to which the relatives’ supervisor has been implemented, including the extent to which the health and care services have knowledge of the supervisor and how this has been used by relevant personnel. The evaluation will also shed light on whether there is a need to make changes in certain parts of the guide. The findings from the evaluation will be used to assess how the implementation of the guide can be strengthened.
