Maren Veila is an economist with a master’s degree from the University of Bergen (UiB). With a background from The Ministry of Children and Families and The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs, Maren has extensive experience in the use of economic analysis in the public sector. Her experience includes tackling complex issues related to resource allocation, organizational optimization, and efficiency enhancement in public sector operations and service delivery.
Maren’s specialization lies in conducting economic analyses focused on the child and youth sector, complemented by a robust track record in performance management within the public sphere. Maren has developed a strong understanding of government management and budget processes, as well as developing management indicators and key performance indicators.
