Ida Sofie Gunnerød Søfteland holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with a specialization in Economics. During her studies, Ida participated in an exchange program at Yonsei University in South Korea. At NHH, Ida wrote her master’s thesis in labour economics. She examined the relationship between local labour market demand and disability benefit uptake in Norway, both for the population as a whole and separated by gender and age groups. Alongside her studies, Ida worked part-time in business development and market analysis within the electricity and energy sector.
