Oslo Economics consists of several expert groups with specialized research competence that produce both reports and scientific articles in leading journals. We recruit employees with formal research competence (Ph.D.) and are active in participating in conferences, seminars, and other contributions to public debate. We have particularly strong expert groups in areas such as health economic analysis, competition economics and regulation, labor market economics, education, and welfare.

- We contribute to teaching through lectures and as examiners at universities
- We have associated partners in research positions and many other collaborators at other research institutions
- We can provide experimental design for interventions that facilitate new research and prepare funding applications for new projects
- We are an approved research institution at Statistics Norway (SSB) and have access to data from microdata.no
- We have the necessary expertise and experience in handling sensitive data, including the required procedures and applications for processing personal data in register data.
