Does public broadcasters’ web-commitments displace commercial news sites?

On behalf of NRK, Oslo Economics has conducted an analysis to determine whether Public Broadcasters’ web-commitments displaces national commercial news actors from internet. We have analyzed data from 11 European countries. The analysis shows that where there is a lot of traffic on public broadcasters’ websites, it is also a lot of traffic on the major commercial sites.
