Oslo Economics has analysed the economic impacts of three options for new organisation of fire services on behalf of a project lead by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB).
The project lead by DSB has proposed that the fire services should be reduced from 295 to 18 or 19 utnits (depending on whether Oslo and Akershus should have common fire services or not).
