Kornelius Mølmann Fuglem holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In his master’s thesis, he sought to quantify the environmental costs of cabin development in Norway. The thesis used map-based data to extract contextual variables, which were then applied to estimate the value of specific natural areas. His bachelor’s thesis explored the relationship between income inequality and economic growth, analyzing whether the relationship differs between low- and high-income countries. At Oslo Economics, Kornelius has primarily worked on quality assurance of major public investment projects. In addition, he has contributed to the execution of ripple effect analyses and studies of market dynamics within the transport sector.
Kornelius also completed an exchange semester at the University of Amsterdam, where he specialized in topics within international finance and monetary policy, with a particular focus on exchange rate theory and models in monetary economics. Alongside his studies, he worked as a teaching assistant in several courses, including advanced econometrics and macroeconomic analysis.
