Eirik Heggdal Evensen holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), specializing in energy, natural resources, and the environment (ENE). In his master’s thesis, he examined how green certifications influence housing prices in Oslo.

At Oslo Economics, Eirik has primarily worked on issues related to efficiency improvements in the municipal sector and in government agencies. In addition, he has contributed to impact analyses and calculations of the socioeconomic benefits of various state allocations.

Eirik also has a background as a journalist at Aftenposten, VG, NRK, and Dagens Næringsliv, as well as experience as an intern at the communications agencies Geelmuyden Kiese and TRY Råd.

During his studies, he also spent half a year as an intern in the Press, Culture and Information Section at the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin.
