Hedda has recently submitted her doctoral dissertation in economics at the University of Bergen, where she also earned her master’s degree. Her research examines how regulation, climate-related shocks, and M&As influence investor behaviour, with a particular focus on insider trading. She has experience with empirical methods and quantitative analysis, especially in causal identification strategies and working with large, complex datasets. Hedda was a visiting scholar at Copenhagen Business School and Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and has experience with international collaboration.
