On behalf of the Ministry of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs, Oslo Economics has assessed the financial and administrative implications of five different alternatives for where to localise a new, state company responsible for elections. For the time being, the Ministry administrates elections.
Important criterions when considering different options are to what degree there is a risk of loss of competency, to what degree recruitment of qualified labour is possible in different areas and efficiency.
The Ministry is now considering different options for organisational model and localisation.
