Jon-Kristian Hovland is an economist from the University of Oslo. With experience from the Norwegian Railway Directorate, the Norwegian National Rail Administration, and the Norwegian Taxi Association, Jon-Kristian has extensive experience in economic issues within the transportation sector. He has closely followed the development of methods and tools for cost-benefit analysis in the transport sector for several years, both from conducting analysis and as a section leader responsible for the framework for socio-economic analysis in the railway sector. In his role as the section leader he was also responsible for investigating and assessing alternative rail service improvements based on economic analysis.
