Erik Bucher Johannessen holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in financial economics and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Erik works on economic analyses within the fields of transport and logistics, public procurement, public services, innovation and entrepreneurship, and financial economics. Erik’s methodological expertise is particularly relevant for evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and expert assessments. He is proficient in collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative information using in-depth interviews, surveys, and data analyses. As a consultant at Oslo Economics, Erik has worked for a wide range of clients, including ministries, directorates, municipalities, publicly owned enterprises, employer organizations, and private actors.

Erik has been working at Oslo Economics since 2022 and was previously an intern at the company. He has work experience as a business journalist at the Norwegian newspapers Dagens Næringsliv and E24 and has been an intern at Innovation Norway’s office in Singapore.
