Mie Hustad holds a MSc in Economics from Copenhagen University, with a specialization in public economics. Her study background also includes a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Oslo. Mie wrote an empirical master’s thesis investigating the effect of inheritance and inheritance taxation on inequality. Through this work, she acquired significant knowledge in processing and analyzing large amounts of data. Previous work experience includes an internship in the Ministry of Finance in Norway and a part-time job at KANTAR. Moreover, she was an intern at Oslo Economics in the winter of 2023.
