Francisco Oteiza holds a PhD in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, as well as a Master’s Degree in economics from Toulouse School of Economics. He specializes in applied statistics and the evaluation of public policy impacts. Francisco has particular experience in combining different kinds of data, complex data visualization techniques, and identifying causal relationships. He has done research on a number of subjects, including policy evaluation methods, climate change adaptation, and household investment decisions. During his time at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) in London, Francisco gained experience in the design, implementation and analysis of household surveys for public policy evaluations. He also has experience working in complex damage valuation cases presented at the World Bank’s International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
