Nikolai Tveiten Fredheim holds a double degree consisting of a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
During his studies he specialized in development economics, behavioural economics, and econometrics. He spent time at the Economic and Social Research Foundation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he contributed to a randomized controlled trial, survey implementation, and fieldwork. His master’s thesis, written in collaboration with the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen, focused on pluralistic misperceptions in attitudes among young women and men in Tanzania, providing him with broad experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Through the CEMS program he gained international experience, including an exchange semester in Santiago, Chile, where he worked with Maersk on a project analysing AI implementation in logistics. He has also served in His Majesty the King’s Guard and gained varied work experience. Before beginning his studies at NHH, he completed a one-year program in psychology at the University of Bergen.
