Knut Erling Gammelsæter

Knut Erling Gammelsæter holds a MSc in Economics from London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Bergen. In his master dissertation he developed a dynamic model to study the impact on Norway’s economy from adjusting oil production levels. Through his work he gained experience in building and simulating dynamic models. In his bachelor thesis he studied the efficiency of the Norwegian power subsidy and compared it to different subsidy implementations aiming at increased efficiency. Meanwhile, he worked as a teaching assistant at UiB, and was awarded the price “teaching assistant of the year”, two years in a row. In the position he developed skills in communicating complex ideas in an understandable way.
