B\u00e6rum is already a knowledge city by many standards, but with lack of a college or a university.<\/p>\n<p>In our analysis, we have evaluated four concepts for developing the knowledge city. These concepts focus on (i) the municipality as host, (ii) the municipality as cooperating partner, (iii) the municipality as researcher and (iv) the municipality as hub.
