The conference brought together competition experts from across the Nordics and the Baltics for two days of professional discussions, knowledge&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;and networking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme covered several of the most&nbsp;current&nbsp;issues in competition law and economics, including developments in antitrust trends, market investigation tools, cooperation between enforcers and practitioners, and the European Commission\u2019s proposed guidelines for Article 102.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oslo Economics was well represented in the programme:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hannah Mar\u00f8y<\/strong>\u00a0took part in the panel\u00a0<em>\u201cNordic Check-In: What is keeping Practitioners (and Enforcers) Up at Night?\u201d<\/em>, which offered a broad and up-to-date overview of the key issues shaping the competition landscape in the Nordics at present, as well as the developments most likely to influence the field in the years ahead.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Charlotte Evensen<\/strong>\u00a0participated\u00a0in the panel\u00a0<em>\u201cThe Commission\u2019s Article 102 Guidelines: Practical Roadmap or Power Grab?\u201d<\/em>, discussing how the proposed guidelines will affect future enforcement of the prohibition on abuse of dominance from an economic perspective.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to a full and varied professional programme, the conference featured several social activities. Participants were invited to join a guided tour of the Nobel Peace Centre, a pre-conference&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;and drinks&nbsp;\u2013 and a refreshing start to the day with either a morning run or a morning swim&nbsp;and sauna.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thank you to everyone who attended!<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>We would also like to extend our thanks to our partners, all speakers and the many participants who helped make this year\u2019s&nbsp;W@Competition&nbsp;Nordics such&nbsp;a great success.
