Øystein Tengesdal holds an MSc in Business from Norwegian Business School BI, with a major in economics. He wrote his Master’s thesis on how information asymmetries affect auction dynamics in the Norwegian housing marked. In this process he gained solid competence on how housing prices are formed, as well as broad competence on data analysis and econometrics. Prior to, and during, his studies at BI, Øystein worked as a self-employed freelance musician and producer. This gives him a solid insight into the Norwegian music-, theater and media industry, which makes him particularly suited to work on cultural related projects at Oslo Economics. Former employers include NRK and TV2, as well as a long list of Norwegian theaters.
