Carl-Petter Haugland

Carl-Petter Haugland is an economist (Cand.Oecon) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Through studies and professional experience, he has become skilled in a range of different types of economic analysis and how to apply resulting insights in decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis. He is an expert on the energy sector within the fields of grid operations, power markets, and other regulatory concerns. His past experiences include the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), a distribution system operator, as well as various roles, including management, and analytical functions at Norwegian transmission system operator Statnett. Carl-Petter also has considerable knowledge of decision-making processes in public and private enterprises as he has been involved with governance, evaluation, quality assurance and propositioning of investment decision.
