Ragnhild C. Schreiner is an economist with a PhD from the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo. She previously worked at the Frisch Centre for Economic Research in Oslo, and has been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at University College London. She is currently employed at the University of Oslo as an Associate Professor. She leads a research area at the centre for tax research (Norwegian Fiscal Studies) at the Department of Economics (UiO), and she is the Principal Investigator for a research project funded by the Norwegian Research Council on labor market institutions, technology, and inequality. Schreiner has specialized in public economics, labor economics, and applied econometrics and has extensive experience with empirical methods, analysis of register data, and identification of causal effects. She has researched various topics within labor economics, welfare and taxation, and has conducted several empirical evaluations in the field. Since 2023, Schreiner has been a member of the Ministry of Finance’s advisory committee for fiscal policy analyses.
