Alexander Huth holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Oslo. During his studies he specialized in taxation and public economics and worked as a research assistant at the research center Oslo Fiscal Studies (OFS). He interned at the Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco, and at Innovation Norway’s office in Silicon Valley. He has previously worked at the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) and the Confederation of Vocational Unions (YS). Alexander recently served three years as an advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. His portfolio covered trade policy, trade promotion, economic analysis of Norwegian exports, governance of The Norwegian Seafood Council and the Export Strategy Council.
